Tuesday, July 3, 2012 - SLCTV, League Of Woman Voters Air Candidate Forum Starting July 5

St. Lucie County’s government access channel, SLCTV, will begin broadcasting “Decision 2012:” A candidate forum for the local primary elections on Thursday, July 5 at 7 p.m. on Comcast 21 and AT&T U-Verse 99.

Organized and coordinated by the St. Lucie County League of Women Voters, the primary forum features candidates running for St. Lucie County Tax Collector, County Commission District 1 and 5, Fort Pierce Mayor, Fort Pierce Commission District 1, Port St. Lucie City Council District 4, State Representative District 55 and District 85, U.S. Representative District 18 and U.S. Senator. Decision 2012 is hosted and moderated by Carol Wyatt of WPSL 1590 AM.

The forum will air on SLCTV (Comcast 21 and AT&T U-Verse 99), as well as FPTV (Comcast 27 and AT&T U-Verse 99) and PSLTV (Comcast 20) throughout the month up until the primary election. St. Lucie County’s Primary Elections will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 14. Early voting begins Saturday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m.—6 p.m. (every day except Sunday).
