Sensational Seeds! - October 11, 2008
An acorn contains all the potential of a majestic oak. In this way, seeds are like tiny packages of magic!! They are also an important food source to many creatures. Discover a variety of seeds and learn how seeds survive harsh environments, travel to distant lands, and sprout to become plants. Appropriate for all ages.

• Lost in the Woods - November 8, 2008
  Have you ever been lost in the woods? It can be very scary but you can learn some simple ways to help deal with the situation. Join us as we learn how to orient ourselves, to be safe and to make a debris shelter. All participants need to be accompanied by an adult. We will be spending all of our time outside so please be prepared for all that the weather has to offer. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
  

Holiday Crafts and Tree Trimming Festivities - December 13, 2008
Release your crafty side and join us to make some cool holiday crafts. While enjoying your time as an artist extraordinaire, all participants are welcome to help trim the Oxbow tree. Appropriate for all ages.
