Oxbow Educational Programs

The Oxbow Eco-Center offers a variety of programs for both youth and adults. Check out our 'What's Happening' page for monthly programming.

Please call to arrange a field trip for a school group. Oxbow staff offers three educational programs: Watershed, Eco Exporers, and Meet the Residents. Call us for details of each program. Following the program, teachers are welcome to take their students on a trail hike and/or have lunch on the back porch. The Oxbow has a series of trails totaling about 3 miles, from the 1/2 mile Gopher Tortoise Loop Trail to the 1-1/2 mile Blue Heron Trail.
What to Bring:
- Chaperones
- Proper walking shoes
- Water
- Hat
- Sun Screen
- Insect Repellent
- Lunch (optional - must pack out garbage)
- Binoculars & Field Guides (optional)
- Rain Gear and/or change of clothes (optional)
- Sense of Adventure!
