Oxbow Educational Programs

Oxbow EducationThe Oxbow Eco-Center offers a variety of programs for both youth and adults. Check out our 'What's Happening' page for monthly programming.

Call the Oxbow to schedule programs for:
    School Groups
      Please call to arrange a field trip for a school group. Oxbow staff offers three educational programs: Watershed, Eco Exporers, and Meet the Residents. Call us for details of each program. Following the program, teachers are welcome to take their students on a trail hike and/or have lunch on the back porch. The Oxbow has a series of trails totaling about  3 miles, from the 1/2 mile Gopher Tortoise Loop Trail to the 1-1/2 mile Blue Heron Trail.

    What to Bring:

    • Chaperones
    • Proper walking shoes
    • Water
    • Hat
    • Sun Screen
    • Insect Repellent
    • Lunch (optional - must pack out garbage)
    • Binoculars & Field Guides (optional)
    • Rain Gear and/or change of clothes (optional)
    • Sense of Adventure!

    Special Groups
      Do you have a group of adults or youth that you'd like to bring to the Oxbow for a special program? Then give us a call to set up a program. Cost is $3.00 per person.
