Ocean Bay
Ocean Bay Preserve lies between the Atlantic Coast and Indian River Lagoon. It is a small yet beautiful example of the historical communities commonly found on South Hutchinson Island.

| Habitat: | A very good example of a mature beach dune system with sea grape, wild lime, cabbage palm and a variety of stoppers. |
| Trails: | A short self-guiding interpretive trail leads through the beach/dune ecosystem. A trail across A1A leads you to the Indian River Lagoon. Beach access. |
| Other Improvements: | Crabbing and fishing platforms along the Indian River Lagoon. |
| Commonly Seen Wildlife: | Pelican, sandpiper and gulls. |

7600 South Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach. One (1) mile south of the St. Lucie Nuclear Power plant on South A1A, South Hutchinson Island, Ft. Pierce, FL |
| Management: | Managed by St. Lucie County Environmental Resources with the assistance of the Parks and Recreation Department and Mosquito Control. The site was purchased with funds from Florida Communities Trust's Florida Forever Program. |
| Notes: | The Sabellariid wormrock is located immediately off-shore, and provides a unique snorkeling experience. Please, do not stand or walk on the reef. |
