Overlooking the Indian River Lagoon, this 33-acre site contains many threatened and endangered species of plants that are found only in this scrub. A half- mile self-guided interpretive trail leads visitors through the site.

Habitat: Primarily scrub with some maritime hammock.
Commonly seen wildlife: Gopher tortoise, sand skink and blue jay.
Notes: An existing house is home to the Ocean Research and Conservation Association (ORCA), a marine research facility.
