Housing Division
The Community Services Department is actively involved in Disaster Response. If interested in providing rental units for displaced residents in times of disaster, please use the registration form.
The Housing Division administers state and federal housing programs for assistance to purchase a home and to rehabilitate existing homes for low to moderate income families.
Currently, the Housing Division administers the following programs:
State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP)
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Neighborhood Stabilization Program One (NSP1)
Neighborhood Stabilization Program Three (NSP3)
HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME)
Residential Construction Mitigation Program (RCMP)

Please note that:
- Grant funding is limited and services are only offered as the resources are available.
- The criteria for eligibility is stringent and not everyone will qualify.
- Applications are accepted only when the application cycle is open and the application packet is fully complete. Applications should not be mailed.
- Applicants are served in order.
- Completing the full program process can take more than a year.
