Acquired to protect rare Scrub Jay habitat, the 56-acre site contains an elevated observation deck. A one-mile, self-guided interpretive trail identifies species of plants within the preserve. |

Habitat: Scrubby flatwoods consisting of a dense understory of myrtle oaks, chapman oaks, saw palmetto along with a few scattered Slash pines. Commonly seen wildlife: Scrub jay, gopher tortoise, cat bird, and mockingbird. |
