J.O.E. - Habitat Hike at Spruce Bluff

Strap on your boots or tennis shoes and come explore the habitats of Spruce Bluff Preserve in Port St. Lucie. This preserve is the perfect place to see a variety of habitats including the endangered Florida Scrub, Pine Flatwoods, Bay-Gall Swamp and Depression Marsh. Learn about the animals and plants that make their home in each and explore an ancient burial mound built by the Ais Indians.
The J.O.E. programs are designed for ages 8-12. The cost is $5 per participant. Reservations are required. Programs take place at the Oxbow Eco-Center and run from 10 a.m. to noon unless otherwise noted.
