Driver's Ed Grant


The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners is accepting grant applications from private and public schools to assist with driver education safety programs now through Thursday, Sept. 10. For grant rules and an application click here.

SLC Schools, Govt Offices Open Monday

St. Lucie County schools and government offices and services, including garbage pickup, will be operating under normal hours Monday, Aug. 31. With heavy rains, residents should avoid walking, wading, standing, playing and driving through flood waters. Increased rains also elevate the risk for mosquito breeding, so residents are asked to “tip and toss” standing water around their homes and businesses.   Read More
